TL;DR
- Milee is for couples and friend groups in long-distance relationships.
- You are responsible for what you share within your group.
- Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google and can be cancelled anytime.
- We can suspend abusive accounts, but we will explain why.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Milee.
3. Your account
One account per person. Use a real email address. Do not share your login credentials. Connect with your partner or friends using the official invite-code mechanism.
4. Modes
Couple mode: Two people form a private couple. Both can see each other's shared content.
Friends mode: Two to five people form a private group to stay connected across distances.
If one member deletes their account, the others retain access to their own content.
5. Your content
You retain full ownership of all content you create in Milee (photos, letters, journal entries, etc.). You grant Milee a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and transmit your content solely within your couple or friend group. We will never use your content for advertising, AI training, or any third-party purpose.
You agree not to upload content that: infringes third-party rights, depicts illegal activity, or includes personal data of others without their consent.
6. Subscriptions and pricing
Milee Premium is $3.99 / month and unlocks letters, map, games, and themes. Subscriptions are billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). They auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Local currency and pricing may vary.
7. Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google per their respective policies. We honor refund requests made within 48 hours of purchase when directed to us at contact@getmilee.app. See our Refund Policy for full details.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to: reverse-engineer or modify the app, use Milee for illegal purposes, send spam or malicious content, or impersonate other users. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with reasonable notice when possible.
9. Service availability
We aim to keep Milee available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.
10. Disclaimer
Milee is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is capped at the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months.
12. Termination
You may stop using Milee and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may terminate your account for violations of these Terms. You may export your data for 30 days following termination.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will provide at least 30 days' notice in-app for material changes.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia (or, pending company formation, applicable law). Any disputes shall be resolved in Tallinn, Estonia, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
